Thatcham S5 is another of the new classifications for stolen vehicle tracking. These devices have all the same features as the new Thatcham S7 tracking devices along with the mandatory Driver Identification Tag for turning the system off. The tag will need to be present when starting the vehicle, if the tag is not present when starting the vehicle, then you will receive a call from the 24hr control centre to authorise movement. If this is a theft then they will be able to track your vehicle in live time liaising with the Police to assist them in the quick recovery of your vehicle.
